The traditional owners' name for the tree is Marri, although the English called it Redgum (not to be confused with Eastern States species of Redgum) but it is indeed the same tree with the same highly nutritious pollen, abundant nectar, and widely loved flavour profile.
TA35+ stands for Total Activity [TA] followed by the number rating the honey receives on a scaled level of activity, which represents the honey's antimicrobial quality. The higher the TA score, the greater the antimicrobial strength- honey rated TA10+ will have beneficial properties, and ratings of TA30+ possess the renowned medicinal qualities, with 35+ being the highest potency.
